Ô tô (tiếng Pháp: automobile) hay xe hơi, xe con là loại phương tiện giao thông chạy bằng 4 bánh chở theo động cơ của chính nó.

- On a fait pendant cette période un effort énorme sur les routes. La Route Mandarine, longue de 2400 km. et qui réunit la frontière de Chine à celle du Siam, fut entreprise et un très grand nombre de ponts construits. Dès lors les automobiles se multiplièrent et les villageois purent en bien des cas remplacer le portage par la charrette à bras.
