Diode (tiếng Anh: diode) hay đi-ốt là loại linh kiện bán dẫn chỉ cho phép dòng điện đi qua theo một chiều mà không theo chiều ngược lại.

- In a laser you first begin with a special medium that will transmit the laser beam, such as a special gas, crystal, or diode.
