Nội chiến Hoa Kỳ (tiếng Anh: American Civil War, 12 tháng 4 năm 1861 – 9 tháng 5 năm 1865) diễn ra giữa Liên bang miền Bắc với Hợp bang miền Nam, cuối cùng kết thúc khi miền Nam đầu hàng và chế độ nô lệ bị đặt ra ngoài vòng pháp luật trên toàn lãnh thổ Hoa Kỳ.
